    Abstract
    The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of career planning training in order to increase career decision making-self efficacy on 9th grade student of MTs “X” Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research were 18 students devided into two groups: 10 students were in the experimental group and 8 students were in the control group. Career decision making-self efficacy scale was used to collect data. The data analysis techniques used was parametric analysis of mixed anova. The results of data analysis showed that career planning training was statistically proven to improve career decision making-self efficacy on 9th grade students of MTs “X” Yogyakarta (F=32,901; p=0,000, p<0,005). The conclusion of this study was that career planning training could improve career decision making-self efficacy on 9th grade students of MTs “X” Yogyakarta.
