    Abstract
    Public Relations has close ties with a variety of media, both print media such as newspapers, magazines, and tabloids, as well as electronic media such as television, radio, or the internet. Because through and engage the media that, Field Public Relations can perform according to their field of activities is media relations activities such as the Press Conference, Press briefing, Press Tour, Press Release, Special Event, Press Luncheon, Press Interview. Media relations activities can be done to deliver a message to the audience through the press effectively, and spread widely when channeled through the media well. Media relations is a matter pertaining to the communication media. Media communication is necessary because it becomes a very important tool and efficient in berkomuniaksi with the public. First find the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's resources. Then pay attention to the opportunities and threats of the external environment of the organization. After it began to notice the technical dimension or principles pertaining to media relations. Media relations strategy includes managing relationships, develop a strategy and develop a network of three strategies according to Yosal Iriantara has been well implemented by the Radio Republic Indonesia Yogyakarta and the strength of the institution itself. Seven activities of media relations there are six activities run by RRI Yogyakarta as routine activities each year are never missed and activities dilakuykan never changed annually ie press conferences, press interviews, press luncheon, press releases, press briefing, and special events. special events and press luncheon be featured on media activities
