The high demand for entertainment by the people of the capital, became a separate opportunities for companies engaged in such entertainment, Promoter company. PT. Java Festival Production or abbreviated JFP is a music promoter who has the big events of international standard one of them being the "Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival" or commonly abbreviated as Java Jazz. Java Jazz is a music festival that lasts for three days every year starting from 2005 to the present.
This study uses qualitative research methods with constructivism. This study focuses on events management in organizing the event Java Jazz 2015. The research location in Jakarta on promoter company PT. Java Festival Production (JFP). Theoretical framework used is event management and event planning. This study also uses models Cycle Event Management offered by Joe Goldbatt with the stages in the form of Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, Evaluation. Besides the stages of data collection used was observational participatory, interviews, documentation and literature.
The results of this study illustrate the PT. JFP event management process that divides into 3 parts, Pre Event, Main Event and Post-Event. Pre Event as an initial stage in the process of drafting consisting of Research, Design and planning as part of the Internal and External. Main Event is a continuation of the process stages Research, design, and planning in a coordination which is then followed by the second part of the work coordination committee comprising team and production team. Post-event, the end of the process a stage Event Management PT. JFP which is a process report also deals with the satisfaction survey and the number of visitors at the Java Jazz implementation of the last phase is evaluation.
