dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and student academic engagement at high school / equivalent. This study population is students of MAN 1 Yogyakarta with 100 students. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive correlation between self-efficacy and student academic engagement at high school students. To test the hypothesis of the study, researchers conducted a data collection using a scale of student engagement is adapted from School Engagement Scale and academic self-efficacy scale adapted from a scale Butler (2011). The results showed no relationship between selfefficacy and student academic engagement at high school / equivalent. Correlation analysis showed the coefficient of r = 0.475 with significance (p) <0,01 so that hypothesis is accepted.en_US
