dc.description.abstractIslamic Business Ethics is an ideal way of organizing and managing business with the prevailing norms and morality, and not violates the Islamic principles. In implementation business ethics, there are several principles that must be met, among others: the principle of unity, balance / justice, free will, responsibility and virtue / honesty. One of today's growing businesses is e-commerce. In general, ecommerce has similarities with bai 'as-salam, because there are four conditions that must be met (buyer, seller, exchange instrument and transaction object). The conformity of the principle of as-salam transactions with e-commerce transactions may be permitted by Islam, except on commodities which are not justified for entry into Islam. The purpose of this research is to determine and explain the Islamic business ethics applied by sellers in social media Instagram. The research method used is qualitative method by conducting interviews with three sellers and six buyers. The object of research is e-commerce transactions based on social media, such as Instagram. The results showed that in general the seller in Instagram has applied Islamic business ethics, but not maximally.en_US
