Evaluasi Kelayakan Geometri Jalan Yogyakarta-Wonosari Km 23,3 Sampai 23,6
Abstract
The highway is a land transportation infrastructure connecting one region with another. Jogjakarta-Wonosari Road Km 23,3 to Km 23,6 has three turns where the distance between turns is very short. The second turn from Jogjakarta is a sharp turn, there are obstacles that make the other side of curve is unseen. Thus, It is necessary to review the feasibility of geometry. Method of data collecting was done by direct measurement in the field, such as road conditionsmeasurement by using theodolite includes lane and shoulder width of the road. Speed data obtained directly in the field by using radar speed gun. The data then analyzed based on the provisions Departemen Pekerjaan Umum Jenderal Bina Marga. The analysis shows some parts of the road which do not meet the minimum standards Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga. All sections of lane width of the road have met the minimum standard of 3,00 m. But, only 8 of 28 sections of shoulder width of the road have met the minimum standar of 1,50 m. On the analysis of stopping sight distance, all of turns have not met the standar minimum. For clear distance ahead in the field, all of turns have not met the minimum standard. On the horizontal curves, the Tikungan I and the Tikungan II have met the standar minimum Rc for design speed of 30 km/h. The tangent length between the Tikungan II and the Tikungan III has met the minimum standar of 30 m. The vertical curves in the field, all of turns have not met the minimum standar of Lv. The recommended speed for the conditions in the field is 20 km/h.
