    Abstract
This research aims to identify the online reading strategies used by high school students. The method of this research is a survey study that uses a questionnaire to collect the data. The questionnaire was adapted from the Online Survey of Reading Strategies (OSORS) by Mokhtary & Shoeray (2002). The strategies of online reading are global reading strategies, problem-solving strategies and support reading strategies that consist of 38 questions. The participants for this research are the students in senior high school academic year 2019/2020 grade XI. The data was collected from the total of the sample that consists of 174 respondents that dominated by the female than the male students and their ages around 15 to 17 years old. The results shows that the highest average is in the question number 1 (Mean = 3,68) that is "I have a purpose in mind when I read online" which is a category from global reading strategies and the question number 11 (Mean = 3,68) that is “I try to get back on track when I lose concentration” which is a category from Problem Solving strategies. After the researcher makes the questionnaire that is appropriate with the research, the researcher shared the questionnaire by printed form to the students.
