    Abstract
    This study aims to describe about how the students perception on movie discussion as task based language teaching. Method in this research is using qualitative methods and with focus take the two respondents from the results of the discussion of the movie. The researcher use participants to take and complete the data. The finding of this research is the use of discussion of the movie is very easy and increase in learning the English language, have moral values, interact with each other, learning is fun. The most important conclusion, especially in exchanging ideas on the topic discussion from discussion of the movie. Keywords: movie discussion, task based language teaching, qualitative research
