    Abstract
Fingerprint are the result of reproduction of the sole of the finger is deliberately taken, stamped with ink, as well as the former left on the object because it was never touched the skin of the sole or foot. Every human being has different fingerprints, because the sophisticated increasing of era and technology, fingerprints are not only state documents but are widely used in security systems. Such as on the device and everyday, for example on computers, Mobile and many more. Some people still do not understand that our fingerprints have some type or type, therefore to know those types with fingerprint pattern recognition using euclidean distance. Euclidean distance is a distance calculation of two points in the Euclidean space. The application of Euclidean Distance on fingerprint image recognition is fingerprint image matching data which is used based on data of type or type of pattern in general amounted to seven, which is matching by seeing the smallest value (distance) between each. Based on the test image data of 34 obtained a match of 17.65%.
