Hubungan Antara Dukungan Teman Sebaya dan Motivasi Mahasiswa dalam Mengikuti Magang Lembaga Eksekutif Mahasiswa (Lem)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between peer support and motivation to follow the internship student executive organization. The hypothesis proposed in this study was that there will be a positive relationship between peer support and motivation to follow the internship student executive organization in Islamic University of Indonesia. The subjects of this study were 67 interns student executive organization in Islamic University of Indonesia with ranges 18-21 years old. Scale used in this research there are two, namely Organize Motivation Scale (Putri, 2015; 23 aitem with α=0.879) which have been modified by researchers and Peer Support Scale (Qudsyi & Sa’diyah, 2016; 18 aitem with α=0.913) which have been modified by researchers. Results of analysis by using SPSS 16 for windows shows that there was a significant relationship between peer support and motivation to follow the internship student executive organization with correlation coefficient (r) of 0.258 with p = 0.002 (p <0.01).
