    Abstract
The integration of digital platforms in business education has reshaped instructional delivery, particularly within simulation-based learning environments. In this context, Edugate utilizes social media as a pre-training activation tool to support the implementation of its Business Simulation Game (BusinessSim). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Edugate’s social media as an e-learning instrument and to evaluate the effectiveness of structured training sessions in improving measurable learning outcomes. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining survey data and pre-test post-test analysis involving 125 participants of the International Business Simulation Competition 2025, including representatives from several ASEAN countries. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, instrument validity and reliability testing, and N-Gain score analysis. The findings reveal that social media serves as an effective supportive learning platform by reinforcing key constructs of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), particularly perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and behavioral intention to use. Furthermore, the training intervention demonstrates statistically significant improvement in post-test scores, indicating cognitive gains. The participation of international students enhances the cross- contextual relevance of the findings. The study highlights the strategic integration of digital communication and experiential training in advancing simulation-based learning effectiveness.
