| dc.description.abstract | The purpose from the research is to find out some significant difference between
Conventional Bank and Islamic Bank with CAMELS method see from the variable
Capital (CAR), profitability (ROA & NIM), efficiency (NPL & BOPO), and Liquidity
(LDR & GWM). The population in this study is a report the financial performance of
Islamic banking and conventional banking registered at Bank Indonesia. The selection
of the sample is done by purposive sampling. Showed 10 company to be samples, 5
Conventional Bank and 5 Islamic Bank from 2011-2015 period. The results showed that
the views of the capital as measured by the CAR there is difference of performance of
conventional banks with Islamic banks with a probability of 0,047. Profitability as
measured by NPL conventional banks and Islamic banks because there are differences
in the probability of a second banking 0,002. Level of efficiency as measured by the
ROA and BOPO there is a difference with respective probabilities 0,000 and 0,000.
NIM there is no difference because the probability is 0,764. While there are differences
in the probability GWM 0,000. And Liquidity as measured by LDR there is no
difference with probability 0.705. From the whole it can be concluded that the
performance of conventional banks is higher when viewed from the average CAR,
ROA, NIM, GWM, and LDR. And higher performance of Islamic banks seen from the
average NPL and BOPO. | en_US |
