    Abstract
This study examines the motivations, challenges, and rewards experienced by seasonal workers during the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. Drawing on a qualitative phenomenological methodology, data were collected from seasonal workers employed in the Hajj periods and analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings reveal that seasonal workers are motivated by both professional aspirations and profound personal or spiritual values, which drive their participation in an event of immense religious significance. However, they also face financial uncertainty, emotional strain, and lack of job security, which can negatively affect their well-being and family stability. These results suggest the need for strategies that maximize the spiritual and professional benefits of seasonal employment while minimizing its financial and emotional challenges. The study also offers useful recommendations for businesses, emphasizing the importance of understanding employees' lived experiences to enhance workplace policies, communication, training, and support systems, all of which will ultimately improve employee well-being, job satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness. By providing a comprehensive understanding of workers' actual experiences, as well as practical recommendations for employers and legislators, the study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on seasonal employment and religious holidays.
