    Analysis of Women’s Perceptions In Berkain Depicted from @raniaayamin Educational Tiktok Content

    Abstract
    The art of outfit Berkain (wearing traditional Indonesian clothing) in the current era has again received significant attention from the community, especially the younger generation as a form of cultural preservation. This study analyzes women's interest in wearing traditional Indonesian clothing as portrayed in educational content on TikTok by the account @raniaayamin. Using a qualitative method, this research explores how TikTok's digital platform influences women's understanding and interest in re-using the outfit berkain which can have a good or bad impact in the current era. Supported using purposive sampling method where the research subjects are focused on female gender, aged 18-23 years, domiciled in Jogja, and like or have worn berkain outfits. Data was collected through observation and interview approaches to several female students as well as analyzing from campuses located in Yogyakarta. The findings of this study illustrate how the perceptions of modern women with different family backgrounds, friendships, and also the social environment (campus) of the Berkain itself, while showing that the account of @raniaayamin has succeeded in bridging cultural appreciation by bringing positive changes in views of traditional fabrics such as cloth with modern trends. Other factors that support women in feeling comfortable when using Berkain are influenced by several aspects such as, comfortable material factors, mobility, the attractiveness of interesting and good fabric motifs, and finally the psychology of comfort. This research also highlights the role of TikTok social media as an educational tool for cultural preservation that offers insight into the evolving role of traditional practices in contemporary contexts.
