This study explores the challenges and opportunities faced by Indonesian exporters of edible bird's nests (EBN), focusing on the regulatory and market dynamics that influence their global competitiveness. As the largest producer of EBN, Indonesia has encountered significant obstacles, particularly due to stringent regulations from destination countries like China, which have disrupted direct exports. Despite this, the growing global demand for EBN, driven by its perceived health benefits and luxury status, presents new opportunities for diversification beyond China into markets in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. The study examines key factors including trade policies, supply chain inefficiencies, and certification requirements, providing recommendations for improving export strategies, enhancing product quality, and expanding market reach. Additionally, the role of government support and the importance of market diversification are discussed in terms of sustaining Indonesia's leadership in the global EBN industry.en_US
