dc.description.abstractThe attitude of customer is an attitude of human in using his or her income in fulfilling the needs individually or socially. The human economic problem in the Islamic perspective refers to the fulfillment of needs with the natural resources available. With the existence of concept of Maslahah, it is expected to help in fulfilling the today human welfare. Imam Al-Gaza>li> has introduced a concept from the function of social prosperity in which in its content, human is required to be able to differentiate the needs of d}aru>riyya>t, hajiyya>t, dan tah}si>niyya>t as those that must be well concerned to avoid any inaccuracy in determining the category of the levels. With the concept of al-mas}lah}ah}, it is expected to be an answer any challenge in fulfilling the human needs today. This is a qualitative research that can be categorized as a library research that is conducted through an analysis on the books and other sources relevant with the research. The approach selected was related to the concept of thought. In this context, the research did an interpretation towards the thought of Imam Al-Gaza>li> in his book entitled al-Mustas}fa> Min ‘Ilmi Usu>l, particularly in the topic that would be analyzed that is maslahah that later would be related to the consumer’s attitude. The result of this research showed that to make the concept of social prosperity function of Imam Al-Gaza>li> could not be denied by introducing how the human attitude in fulfilling his or her needs based on the levels (d}aru>riyya>t, hajiyya>t, dan tah}si>niyya>t). The introduction in the need completion based on the priority scale has been presented for so long though it has not been studied in detail. The implementation of al-us}u>l al-khamsah in fulfilling the human need has facilitated along with its development until today. The universal valued owned becomes certain value in initiating the attitude of consumer to be an Islamic man.en_US
