    Abstract
    Group is one form of business which is a merger or grouping of two or more companies engaged in various activities both vertical and horizontal. According to Chandler (1982), initially a business group company is one company that has one very successful product in the market. According to Wheelen and Hunger (2006), the company's business group grew with concentration and diversification. A corporate strategy developed by a diversified company will have the right tendency if the parent company has a high fit with its business unit. The duty of the parent company not only collects contributions from subsidiary companies, but designs the growth of business group values as a whole based on a complex business portfolio, Balaban and Rotschild (2002). The presence of PT. PDAJ in PT. GA Link Group becomes a different business unit but still in related field. The parent company considers the associated diversification as one of the strategies to enhance the company's advantage. Diversification strategy is a complex strategy implication, because for the company, this will be a new experience, both in terms of market (new market) and in terms of products (new product). It is very unique and needs to be observed, because the parent company has a different field with PT. PDAJ. PT. GA Link Group as the parent company needs to analyze the parenting fit of the PDAJ in order to provide the right care. So that result can be used for the determination of strategy in the future. The conclusion of this action research is known that PT. The PDAJ is at the edge of heartland business area in the parenting fit matrix. PT. PDAJ actually has a high potential to enter into the heartland business area, because PT. PDAJ has its own advantages and uniqueness compared with other non formal education service companies, namely in the field of training and human resources. PT. GA Link Group as a holding company needs to make some changes to the intervention pattern. Better intervention pattern undertaken in the care of PT. PDAJ is an indirect and decentralized intervention, so that PT. PDAJ has the flexibility in creating and innovating. PT. PDAJ has the potential to have an open market. When PT. PDAJ has open market then PT. PDAJ creating value, but in the same time can also become destructive value for business PT. GA Link Group. And has the potential to have a closed market. When PT. PDAJ has a closed market then PT. PDAJ destructive value in PT. PDAJ (from the side of turnover), but in the same time can also become a value for the business PT. GA Link Group. PT. PDAJ should keep a closed market in place.
