    Abstract
    The background of this research is because the gadget is very intimately relation to everyday life. In fact, has become a staple of many people. Nowadays almost all aspects of life using the gadget. This gadget certainly has a lot of impact for users. No exception to the students who were attending school. Gadgets have become a part of student life, so the existence of a gadget is causing their positive and negative impact. So on the basis of these cases the authors formulate the following thesis title "GADGET EFFECT OF THE USE OF STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT". This study aims to is to tell in details how the impact of positive, negative and efforts should be made to enable students to use the gadget properly and not abused, as well as find out whether the gadget has an influence on student achievement MTsN Maguwoharjo. This study uses quantitative methods to the entire population of grade seven and grade eight students MTSN Maguwohrjo with the number 221 and sapelnya study amounted to 96 students. The sampling technique proportional random sampling. Data collection technique used questionnaires to obtain data on the effect of using the gadget student achievement, as well as data report cards to get the achievement data. Analysis of the data used is simple regression analysis. The results of this study concluded that there is a positive and significant impact on the use of gadgets on student achievement MTSN Maguwoharjo. Evidenced by the results indicate yng calculated F value of 57.420 with a significance value of 0.000, then Ho is rejected, which means Ha accepted because the significance value less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).
