Internet as the easiest resources to meet the needs in finding info, info and news
about the desired via internet-based media which is a tool to be used to convey the
message of the communicator to the audience. Therefore, this paper intends to
examine how the Happy Loka Zoo utilize internet-based media as an information
service to visitors conducted by the communicator Happy Loka Zoo. As well as
researchers want to know the content of the information, their management, and
how their activities in an effort to improve the quality of service information by
Happy Loka Zoo.
This was a descriptive research a using a constructive paradigm using a
phenomenology approach. The theory used: the basic concepts of the internet,
websites, social media, information services and the conclusion of service
information through web-based media.
The research finding result was Public Relations Division of Gembira Loka Zoo
conducted information service activities among others providing information
service, providing information updating, and building customer relationships, so
that customers be satisfied with the results of Gembira Loka Zoo service without
having to location
