dc.description.abstractThis research aims to determine the soundness of banks by using CAMEL. The samples are 8 National Private Banks in Indonesia, consisting of Bank Central Asia, Bank CIMB Niaga, Bank Danamon Indonesia, Bank Pan Indonesia, Bank Permata, Bank Bukopin, Bank Mega and Bank Mayapada International. The data obtained from quarterly financial statements with the 2011-2015 time period. The results showed that the healthy level of the majority of the banks is healthy. The order of the eight National Private Banks soundness, it is known that bank soundness best achieved by Bank Central Asia, followed by Bank Mega, Bank Permata, Bank Danamon Indonesia, Bank Pan Indonesia, Bank Bukopin, Bank Mayapada Internasional, and then the last one is Bank CIMB Niaga.en_US
