dc.description.abstractThe ribawi transaction has dominated the world’s economic sector leading to injustice. Islamic financial system is expected to be the best alternative in achieving the welfare of society. This study examines the influence of inflation, BI Rate, exchange rate, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and Operational Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on the profitability (ROA). Profitability is used to measure the ability of banks to manage the funds to generate profits. The sample of this research is 10 sharia banks for the period 2010-2019. This research used panel data regression to estimate the empirical model of profitability. The result indicate that Inflation, BI Rate and exchange rate has no significant effect on ROA. CAR variable has a positive and significant effect on ROA. NPF and BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect to profitability (ROA) sharia bank.en_US
