dc.description.abstractThis study discusses the effect of capital adequacy ratio, asset quality, liquidity, and efficiency to the level of profitability of the public banking company on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sample used is 20 banking companies go public listed in the Stock Exchange 2011-2014 period. This study uses regression analysis to identify the impact of financial ratios to levels of bank profitability. The results show that capital ratios are proxied by the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) a significant negative effect on the profitability of banks. Asset quality ratios are proxied by the NPL (Non Performing Loan) no significant negative effect on the profitability of banks. The liquidity ratio is proxied by the LDR (Loan Deposit Ratio) a significant negative effect on the profitability of banks. The efficiency ratio is proxied by the BOPO (operating expenses to operating income) a significant negative effect on the profitability of banks. Another proxy that NIM (Net Interest Margin) positive and significant effect on the profitability of banks. While the capital adequacy ratio, asset quality, liquidity, and efficiency simultaneously affect the profitability of banks that go public.en_US
