Hubungan Antara Kebersyukuran Dengan Makna Hidup Pada Pensiunan

Abstract

This Quantitative research aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and the meaning of life on pensioner. The number of subjects in this study was 30 subjects (26 men and 4 women) who fall into the age category (55-90 years) and the pensioner years starting from 1986 - 2015. This study uses the meaning of life theory that proposed by Frankl (Bastaman, 2007) and gratitude theory that put forward by Al-Munajjid (2006). The result of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between gratitude and the meaning of life on pensioner with a value of p = 0.014 and value of r = 0.442, which explains that the higher a person's level gratitude the higher meaning of life.
