Efl Pre-Service Teacher’s Experiences On Authentic Teaching During Teaching Practicum In A Vocational High School
Abstract
The research aims to investigate EFL pre-service teachers teaching practicum
in vocational high school. The research used a descriptive study proposed by
Suryabrata (2010). The participants of this study were two female students of English
Education Department. They were chosen because of they conducted teaching
practicum in vocational high school. The data were collected through interview to
represent EFL pre-service teacher’s experiences during teaching practicum. The data
were analyzed by using teaching practicum process theory from Geng, Smith, and
Black (2017). The result of this research found that although pre-service teacher
experience unexpected situation during Pandemic Covid-19, however they found that
they learnt a lot how to develop their social skill.
