dc.description.abstractPerformance appraisal is acknowledged as one of the most important human resource practices. Performance Appraisal is important because it has contribution to many decisions of Human Resource Management. A performance appraisal system is a critically needed tool for human resource management if it is done systematically and effectively. This research examined whether performance appraisal has an influence on employee’s motivation and employee’s productivity in Tribunnews.com-Solo. This research was conducted in Solo. This research used quantitative method. The questionnaire method was used to collect data from 50 employees of Tribunnews.com-Solo. Normality test and simple regression analysis were used to analyze the data using SPSS 25. The results of this research showed that performance appraisal has significant influence on employee’s motivation and productivity.en_US
