| dc.description.abstract | Angkutan umum bus perkotaan yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
merupakan salah satu moda transportasi yang sangat populer di masyarakat
Yogyakarta. Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul dalam pengelolaan angkutan
umum bus perkotaan di DIY adalah tarif yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah propinsi
tidak mampu untuk menutupi biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK) bus perkotaan
yang dimiliki operator per bulannya.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung total biaya operasional
kendaraan (BOK) untuk dapat menentukan tarif yang selayaknya diberlakukan dalam
bus perkotaan jika masih mengacu pada pembayaran langsung dengan sistem tarif
seragam (flat fares). Analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui pendapatan/setoran yang diterima pemilik angkutan umum bus perkotaan
selama satu bulan melalui pendapatan/setoran per harinya serta total biaya
operasional kendaraan (BOK) yang harus dikeluarkan oleh pemilik armada angkutan
bus perkotaan per bulannya.
Data yang diperlukan untuk penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data
sekunder. Semua data yang diperlukan ini meliputi jumlah naik turunnya penumpang
bus perkotaan, headway, load factor, jumlah armada, jumlah rit per hari, waktu
perjalanan, harga suku cadang, harga kendaraan, panjang jalur bus, serla usia
kendaraan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan BOK tertinggi adalah sebesar Rp.1418,75 yaitu
pada bus Al untuk jalur 7. Sedangkan BOK terendah yaitu pada bus AB 2607 E
untuk jalur 5 sebesar Rp. 1334,68. sedangkan perhitungan load factor rata - rata
berhasil dihitung 28,14 % pada jalur 5 dan 29,48 % pada jalur 7. Menurut hasil
penelitian di lapangan untuk perhitungan pendapatan setoran yang diterima pemilik
angkutan dalam kurun waktu 1 bulan penelitian sebesar Rp. 2.300.000 s/d Rp.
3.470.000. jika dihitung dari dengan perhitungan BOK maka pemilik angkutan
mengalami kerugian. Agar pemilik angkutan dapat menerima keuntungan maka tarif
yang seharusnya diberlakukan adalah berkisar antara Rp. 7341 s/d Rp. 8576.
Public transportation of city bus in Yogyakarta is one of the most popular
transportation modes in Yogyakarta community. One of the problem appeared on
organizing public transportation of city bus in Yogyakarta is the fares defined by
provincial government was not able to cover the vehicle operational cost (BOK) per
month of city bus which was owned by the operator.
A purpose of this research was to counting the total BOK in order can define
the fares that appropriate to perform at city bus if still refers to direct payment with a
flat fares system. The analysis which done in this research is to know the income or
deposit which was received by the owner of city bus for a month through the

income/deposit per day and the total BOK that had to be paid by the owner for every
month.
Data required to this research is primary and secondary data. All needed data
included the number of passenger, the headway, the load factor, the number of
vehicle, the number of trip per day, the time of trip, the price of spare part, the price
of vehicle, the length of trip, and the age of vehicle.
The result showed the highest BOK was as much as Rp. 1418, 75 that is at the
bus Al with trip route of line 7. While the lowest BOKthat is at the bus A4 with trip
route of line 5 as much as Rp. 1334,68. While the calculation of average load factor
was successfully counted 28, 14% for route of line 5 and 29,48% for route of line 7.
According to the result, the income calculation which was received by the owner
during one month research was Rp. 2.300.000 to Rp. 3.470.000. If it was counted
with BOK calculation, so the owner underwent the financial loss. In order that the
owner could receive the profit, so the fares should be defined in about Rp. 7341 to
