dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to examine the correlation between family support and caregiver burden in family caregiver of stroke patients. The hypothesis in this study is that there is negative correlation between family support and caregiver burden in family caregiver of stroke patients. Family support variables were measured with family support scale developed by researchers referring to the theory of family support from Sarafino and caregiver burden were measured with Zarit Burden Interview (Siegert, et al, 2010). Research subjects were 40 family caregivers who took care of family members who had a stroke. The results showed that there was a negative correlation between family support and caregiver burden in family caregiver of stroke patients. (r = -0.330; p = 0.019; p <0.05).en_US
