This study aims to determine how religious orientation on self a convert.
Respondent is a person who has done conversions into Islam (converts), and the
number of respondent in this study were two respondents. This study uses indepth
interviews to the religious orientation developed by a convert. By grouped
several aspects, later revealed to be an interview guide used as a reference study
investigators. The method used is a method of coding, in which points are points
gained during the interview grouped or classified into several parts and used
during the discussion. From the research conducted, it is concluded that there are
things that encourage respondents to have a decision to make a religious
conversion to Islam. There is doubt about the truth in the old religion and also the
guidance that comes to self-respondents.
