    Abstract
    Background: Stress is a psychological disorder, which has high prevalence in the world. Everyone including medical student could has stress. Academic stress is the most common type of stress among college students. Academic stress could be interpretated as individual state which is caused by pressure from academic stressor. Objective: This study aimed to determine the correlation between remedial of biochemistry lab work with stress level in medical student class of 2017 in Islamic Univerity of Indonesia Methods: Data was collected through two ways. Firstly, from the frequency of remedial in biochemistry lab work. Secondly, the participants were asked to fill in DASS 42 questionere to measure their stress level Result: 77 respondents (84%) have normal level of stress, 8 respondents (9%) have mild stress, 4 respondents have moderate stress, and 3 respondents have heavy stress. Non-parametric test, Spearman method showed p= 0,66 (p< 0,05) which means there is a no significant correlation between biochemistry labwork remedial with stress level in medical student class of 2017 in Islamic Univerity of Indonesia. Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between biochemistry labwork remedial with level of stress in medical student class of 2017 in Islamic Univerity of Indonesia
