| dc.description.abstract | This study examines how Yogyakarta graphic artists utilize various digital tools and
artificial intelligence to increase productivity and creativity in the creative sector. In-depth
interviews and observations of graphic designers who are actively involved in professional
practice are used to collect data using qualitative methods. The results showed that the
designers used an organized but adaptive process that included concept development,
sketching, execution, revision and finalization. This workflow is supported by the strategic use
of various tools, including Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva. This
combination of technologies emphasizes how important process optimization and
interoperability are to produce consistent design results. Four aspects of user experience,
namely usability, usefulness, emotional impact and meaningfulness, were used to frame the
analysis. The findings show that digital technology greatly increases productivity, facilitates
the production of ideas and improves the quality of design. However, the use of AI also raises
ethical questions, especially regarding copyright and creativity. Furthermore, technological
issues such as hardware limitations and file compatibility continue to be significant barriers.
Overall, the study concludes that while AI and digital technologies are beneficial to creative
practice, designers must balance those benefits with ethical considerations and contextual
awareness to create meaningful and successful visual communication in the modern digital
creative industry. | en_US |
