EVALUASI GEOMETRI JALAN KLATEN-JATINOM KM 4,3- KM 5,3 PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH (GEOMETRIC EVALUATION OF KM 4,3 TO 5,3 OF KLATEN - JATINOM ROAD SECTION IN CENTRAL JAVA PROVINCE)
Abstract
Klaten district is a center of rice producers and sand mines of Merapi Mountain. The
process of distribution of basic commodities to other areas requires large and weight vehicles.
Based on regulation governon, Klaten-Jatinom highway is included in the collector 2 (provincial)
highway. Klaten-Jatinom Road according to the classification of the axis is a class road III B. The
Klaten-Jatinom highwayd connected Klaten city with the city of Boyolali. The road becomes an
option for motorists to get to the destination city by saving mileage. The distance between two cities
by using the Klaten-Jatinom road is only need 26.6 km shorter than the road Klaten-Solo-Semarang
42.3 km. Klaten-Jatinom segment has the characteristic of road with a flat terrain. Evaluation needs
to do so that the Klaten-Jatinom road trace is qualify of Bina Marga 1997.
Data retrieval is done on existing trace condition. These data include the width of the lane,
roadside, stopping visibility, vehicle speed, and daily traffic data in 2017. Analysis use Bina Marga
method 1997. Conclusions from the analysis there are several aspects not qualify with Bina Marga
Method. Evaluation of Klaten-Jatinom road 4.3 km 5.3 km needs to get an alternative trace.
Results of analysis on existing trace with Bina Marga method 1997. Average daily traffic
volume of 32129 SMP/day indicates type of collector road class III. Types of bends are s-c-s with
unbalanced bend radius are in bend 1, bend 3, bend 4, and bend 5. Circle arch length does not meet
the requirements are in bend 1, bend 3, bend 4, and bend 5. Distance Stop View with a minimum
length of 73.3 meters does not qualify on all corners. The vertical arch does quaify of requirements
bend 3 and bend 4. Therefore, the an alternative trase is qualify with the Bina Marga 1997
regulation with a plan speed of 40 km/h. There are 5 alternative bend type s-c-s each with a circle
radius 60 meters, 75 meters, 60 meters, 80 meters, and 80 meters. All of circle arch are qualify with
59.24 m, 26.52 m, 35.16 m, 39 m, and 93.45 m. Vertical arch contains 5 pieces with the same length
50 meters.
