ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN DESAIN STRUKTUR PERKERASAN LENTUR MENGGUNAKAN METODE EMPIRIS DAN METODE MEKANISTIK EMPIRIS PADA RUAS JALAN LEGUNDI-KANIGORO- PLANJAN (COMPARISON ANALYSIS OF PAVEMENT STRUCTURE DESIGN USING EMPIRICAL AND EMPIRICAL-MECHANISTIC METHOD)
Abstract
Highway is a basic needs and can’t be separated from the daily development of human activities. A good transportation system can makes the community activities run smoothly, so the demands of time and energy can be optimally fulfilled. However, the high activity of the society today is indirectly impact on the rise of vehicle ownership and it figures the increased volume of vehicles on the road. Build an alternative like the construction of a new road, is become one of the government’s way to break down the traffic. This research is intended to redesign the need for pavement structures on Legundi-Kanigoro-Planjan road and estimate which damage will come first. structure, while Kenpave program as one of the empirical-mechanistic method to predict the decrease of road service. Then, the result of both methods can be compared. Bina Marga 2017 has become one of the empirical method to design the need of pavement at the critical point on the subgrade surface. So the calculation of axle load 8000 kg with the result of 139.684.993 Esal, can be obtained the pavement age of 28 years where the figure exceeds the planned age at Bina Marga 2017, which 20 years only. The simulation shows that the designed of flexible pavement can well accommodate the traffic load through which it is based on secondary data and compatible to the age of the plan. It is shown by the number of reps passing through the pavement less than the damage control predicted by the Kenlayer program. The maximum of stress and strain response on the cause of permanent deformation occurs
