Persepsi Penonton Daerah Terhadap Nilai-Nilai Budaya Jakarta Melalui Program Acara Hiburan Stasiun Televisi Swasta (Studi Deskriptif SMA Negeri 2 Sleman dan SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta)

Abstract

Nowadays , Television is one of needs in public life, a common needs for people. However, one thing that have to alert is the media accentuate Jakarta culture and rule out another culture. So the phenomenon give attention to audience from region especially in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta and Sleman. This research using some of theory that area perception of spectator area, entertainment program, and Jakarta culture in entertainment program. The entertainment program in this research are “Pesbuker” and “Dangdut Academy” where both of those program have Jakarta life style. The Audience from region in this research is high school students from SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta and SMA Negeri 2 Sleman by using indepth interview and held Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The interviewees gave perception from how to dress, attitude, and belief on entertainment performer of “Pesbukers” and “Dangdut Academy” will be related by theory of perception. From dressing, interviewees gave description about how to dress which glamour or casual. The other side that the interviewees gave their to perception theory about bad behavior and not shows good behavior at conversation and bullying. Then, the interviewees gave perception it shows about belief which contradicted with values of religion in society. The perceptionit shows the interviewees in that program be affected with some of factor that based of religion, education, information which submitted (“Setting Jakarta”), watching activity, and situation in research.
