    Abstract
    This study aims to determine the relationship between religious coping on quality of life in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. The hypothesis of this study consist of two hypotheses that there is a positive correlation between positive religious coping on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and there is a negative correlation between negative religious coping on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Subjects of this study consisted of 60 people, aged 45 to 65 years and over. In this study the scale used is the scale of the quality of life of the World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) -BREF and Iranian Religious Coping Scale of Aflakseir & Coleman (2011). To analysis the hypothesis in this study using the product moment. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between positive religious coping on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with p = 0.001 (p > 0.01) and there is a negative correlation between negative religious coping on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with p = 0.023 (p > 0.05).
