Analisis Kesuksesan Knowledge Management System (Studi Pada Bumd Dan Bums Di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara)

Abstract

Knowledge management system (KMS) is the way to reach more benefits in the organization activities. Most organizations also have started to realize the importance of KMS in streamlining their operations and processes to improve organizational performance. This research is aimed to analyze the factors of knowledge management system (KMS) benefits and also make a comparative study in success of KMS between Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) and Private Owned Enterprises (BUMS) in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Populations in this research are high-lower level managers that still employee at their organizations. Purposive sampling method is used to collect the data and statistic model is used in this research is Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, t-test, and multigroup analysis (MGA). The findings shows that all of hypothesis are supported by data, inspite of some variables like system quality is not significantly associated KM use and user satisfaction. For the comparative results show that the differences of KMS success between 2 organizations is evidented.
