| dc.description.abstract | Simplification of business licensing as in PERPU No. 2 Year 2022 is expected to
provide efficiency, one of which is in increasing investment. Then in 2022
Indonesia as the host of the G20 Summit Presidency in Bali, the government has
managed to collect investment commitments of US$ 8 billion. The amount of
investment certainly has positive and negative impacts on society and the
environment. As a compensatory measure for the company's business activities,
CSR/TJSL activities are known. Despite making CSR/TJSL a legal obligation,
there are several problems that have prevented CSR/TJSL activities from achieving
the goals of CSR/TJSL and sustainable development. Therefore, the problems arise:
what are the shortcomings in the legal regulation of corporate social responsibility
in Indonesia, and how is the concept of legal policy on corporate social
responsibility in realizing sustainable development. To answer these problems, this
research will use normative legal research methods, with a legislative, historical,
conceptual, and comparative approach. And make primary and secondary legal
materials as research data. The conclusion of this research is that there are several
problems in the regulation of TJSL in Indonesia, namely; inconsistencies in the use
of phrases regarding CSR, only certain companies are charged with TJSL
obligations, the absence of clear budget provisions, and the absence of strict
sanctions. In addition, to support a more responsible and effective TJSL, the
government needs to issue guidelines like Canada's, and in these guidelines make
the purpose of TJSL implementation in supporting sustainable development. In
addition, the government can also establish a CSR Committee Board consisting of
internal and external parties, as the Indian government regulates CSR. | en_US |
