    Abstract
    This study aims to examine the factors that influence individual interest in the use of financial technology. This study uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) theory and development models from the results of previous studies. The variables used in this study are usage, safety assurance, effectiveness, social factors, motivation and discounts. Research data obtained from the results of an online questionnaire survey. The sampling technique used the probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 153 people. The results showed that the variables of use, safety, effectiveness, social factors and discounts were proven to affect individual interest in the use of financial technology, while the motivation variable did not show an influence on individual interest in the use of financial technology. Hypothesis testing in this study uses a structural model (Inner Model) with the SmartPLS application
