dc.description.abstractBackgrounds: Clozapine is one of second generation antipsychotic which is given to unrespossive schizophrenic patient. Clozapine’s effect on hematologic especially hemoglobin level has not been studied much. Clozapine is rare to given alone and often combined with haloperidol. Objective:To know the diference of hemoglobin level before and after long term treatment of clozapine and haloperidol in combination. Methods:Information on age, sex, medical comorbidities, and complete blood counts were collected from medical records of 72 patients from Grhasia Hospital that have been treated with combined treatment of clozapine and haloperidol more than six months. Data were analyzed with paired t test.Results: The average of hemoglobin level before treatment was14,558 ± 1,60 g/dL and the average after treatment was 13,744 ± 1,66 g/dLThe result from paired t test shown that p=0,000. Conclusions:There was significant differences of hemoglobin level before and after treatment (p=0,000).en_US
