| dc.description.abstract | Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is a commitment by the countries of the United
Nation in efforts to improve the life of society. MDGs goal is to accelerate the achievement of
human development and poverty eradication worldwide in 2015. In 2000, Indonesia along
with the United Nations member states have agreed on the other MDGs. MDGs has several
goals to be achieved in 2015, one of which is MDG 4, which is the goal of decreasing child
mortality rate. The target of MDGs 4 is a decrease in the infant mortality ratio by threequarters
during the years 1990-2015. DEPKES RI stated that indonesia is included one of the
highest infant mortality in the world. Indonesia ratio as 157.000 deaths. Central Java is a
contributor at 50% infant mortality in Indonesia along with five other provinces. Infant
Mortality is caused by socio economic and health factors and may lead to high infant
mortality ratio, such as health facility, percentage of baby that gave exclusive breastfeeding,
percentage of non medical birth attendants, percentage of poor, HDI, and GDP per capita.
The method used is the Poisson Geographically Weighted Regression (GWPR). Based on the
analysis, we can take the conclusion that the infant mortality rate in each district / city in
Central Java have spread pattern indicated the influence of the location. Each district/city
has a significant factorand different between one locations with others. | en_US |
