dc.description.abstractThis study is concerned with Indonesian learners’ anxiety in speaking English at higher education context. This paper aims to identify factors of foreign language anxiety in speaking in an English as a foreign language classroom. The quantitative research design was employed in which a questionnaire comprising of thirty three items was adapted from the study by Al-Tamimi (2016). This research applied a purposive sampling technique to get samples. The participants were 83 students enrolling in Academic Speaking Coursework in a private university. The findings describe three domains of foreign language classroom anxiety in speaking as followed: the highest score for anxiety is test anxiety (M=3, 2853, Std. Deviation 1, 027), followed by communication apprehension (M=3, 2187, Std. Deviation= 1, 0208) and fear of negative evaluation (M=3.0933, Std. Deviation= 1,069).en_US
