dc.description.abstractThe role of SMEs is very useful to increase revenue and improve regional performance. SME actors can be used to develop and contribute to global activities among ASEAN countries. The main data in this study used secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, ministry of cooperatives and SMEs as well as various other sources and literature study related to this research. The dependent variable in this research is the Indonesian Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the independent variables used are the number of SMEs, the number of SMEs workforce, investment and SME sector exports. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the number of SMEs, the influence of the number of SMEs workforce, the influence of investment and the effect of exports from the SME sector on the Indonesian economy. From the results of the research note that the variable number of SMEs, the number of SMEs workforce and investment is significantly affect the GDP variables. Overall the SME sector can affect the development of the Indonesian economy.en_US
