| dc.description.abstract | The objectives of this research are to describe the types of communication skill and to describe the communication modeling of skill of tourist guide in Kraton Yogyakarta. The research design used is qualitative descriptive method. Data collections technique used are recording, questionnaire, taking picture, and interview. The results of the research show that most of the tourist guides use their verbal communication as the type of communication that consists of two parts. They are interpersonal speaking and public speaking. Most of the tourist guides use their nonverbal communication as the type of communication, such as facial expression, eye behavior, kinesics & body movement, and personal appearance & clothing. And then, most of the tourist guides do communication modeling, such as the linear view of human communication, as the interaction view of human communication, as the transactional view of human communication, and as the essentials of human communication. The effects are to communicate with the tourist more fluently and to make a good communication. | en_US |
