    Abstract
Proses adsorpsi menunjukkan nilai COD mg/L sebesar 1387,5 dengan penurunan sebesar 58.11% Textile waste processing research has been done with sun energy using magnifying glass and adsorption with activated carbon. This textile waste treatment process was carried out with solar energy in an open field using a very easy processing tool. The study began with radiation of pure textile waste and waste textiles with the addition of oxidizing agent; H2O2. Variation of radiation time was performed in the period of 3,4 and 5 h. The concentration of textile waste before and after irradiation were measured using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and then treatment levels of cod were measured as well. The result showed that sunlight irradiation gave the best on the 5 hours variation with COD value of 1106,25 mg/L and the decrease in cod was 66,60%. Furthermore, textile waste that has been irradiated then treated by adsorption process using actived carbon for comparing the results of the previous method of COD. The treated waste water showed COD value of 1387,5 mg/L with a decrease of 58.11%
