dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of prosocial behavior and psychological well-being. The hypothesis of this study there is a positive relationship between prosocial behavior and psychological well-being. The scale used to measure the two variables is the Psychological well-being scale that belongs to Ryff (1989) and the Measuring Prosocial Tendencies scale of Carlo and Randall (2002). Subjects in this study is 227 new students (83 men and 144 women) aged between 17-20 years. The result of this research shows that there is no correlation between prosocial behavior and relationship tofresh graduate student, with r = 0,088 and p = 0,094 (p> 0,05).en_US
