dc.description.abstractRoad of Kowangan-Maron in Temanggung Regency was including in the category of secondary collector road. Visually, along the road there are many surfaces road in damaged condition. The damage is quite clearly distinguished when compared to the undamaged road section. Road conditions that are damaged if left continuously will suffer more severe damage over time, in addition to endanger the safety of road users. Therefore, it is necessary to make repairs to prevent damage to the road that is getting worse. In this study, the PCI method is used to calculate the level of visual performace and deflection with benkelman beam to determine the level of eligibility and damage of pavement structure so that the thickness of the overlay requirement for each road damage point for 10 years is needed. This research was conducted by field observation to get the value of road damage based on PCI method visually by using meter, and kaliper. PCI calculations are searched using reduced Corrected Deduct Value of road damage. Analyze the calculation of deflection with benkelman beam, referring to regulation Pd.T-05-2005-B. The deflection value of the test result is used to calculate the value of deflection uniformity. Then there is corrected backflow value (dB), which can be used as reference of structural condition of road, so get thickness value of road pavement by correlating plan deflection value (Drencana) with value of traffic factor. The result of the research shows that road damage was dominated by 2,596% alligator cracking damage, 1.445% patching and 0,369% raveling, with the lowest pavement performance value being in section 14 of 18 (very poor) while the highest pavement performance value is in section 15 of 79 (very good). The mean deflection value is 0.350 mm, the plan deflection value (Drencana) is 0.953 mm, with 11 parts of deflection uniformity. The value of PCI damage in section 14 is directly proportional to the deflection value of the deflection, while in section 7 it shows that the PCI value is inversely proportional to the deflection value, so it is necessary to know the type of damage that occurs including the type of structural damage or damage only on the surface only. Based on Pd-T-05-2005-B with an estimated age of 10 years, 5cm overlay of section 6 and 4cm in section 10 with Laston material (MR of 2000 MPa and minimum Marshall stability 800Kg) was obtained.en_US
