dc.description.abstractThe company conducts an initial public offering (IPO) to raise funds to expand its business. At the time the IPO, the company must provide information about the prospect of the company. This study aims to prove the effect of signals conveyed by the company on future prospects through ownership retention, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, profitability and CSR disclosure against firm value after IPO. The research data is taken from the prospectus issued by the company doing the IPO. Data collection using purposive sampling method at companies that do IPO in year 2013-2016. The sample used is 55 companies. The method of analysis of this study using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that ownership retention has a positive and significant effect on firm value after IPO. Managerial ownership has a negative and significant effect on firm value after IPO. While institutional ownership, profitability, and CSR disclosure do not affect the value of the company after the IPO.en_US
