    Abstract
    Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengolahan limbah cair laundry dengan menggunakan metode distilasi. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah melakukan pengembangan metode pengolahan limbah cair laundry secara sederhana dan efisien. Proses distilasi dilakuka selama 4 jam pada temperatur 100 ºC dan dilakukan variasi pendiaman distilat untuk mengetahui konsentasi COD, NH3 yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan uji pH. Hasil analisis kadar COD, NH3 dan pH pada limbah cair laundry sebelum diolah masing-masing adalah 1397,85 mg/L, 20,97 mg/L dan 7.,7. Hasil dari proses distilasi didapatkan distilat, distilat dilakuakan pendiaman sampai waktu 10 hari, didapatkan kadar COD, NH3 dan pH dengan efisiensi penurunan sebesar 98,5%, 53,85% dan 7,7. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode distilasi sangat cocok untuk pegolahan limbah laundry dalam skala rumahan. Keuntungan yang didapat dari metode distilasi dihasilkan air yang sesuai dengan baku mutu. The research has been conducted on laundry liquid waste treatment using distillation method. The purpose of this research is to develop a simple and efficient liquid waste treatment method. The distillation process was carried out for 4 hours at 100 ºC and distillation variation was performed to determine the concentration of COD, NH3 analyzed by using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and pH test. The results of analysis of COD, NH3 and pH levels in laundry wastewater before treatment were 1397.85 mg/L, 20.97 mg/L and 7.7 respectively. The result of the distillation process was obtained by distillate, distillate for 10 days, and found that the COD, NH3 and pH were 98.5%, 53.85% and 7.7 respectively. The conclusion of this research is that distillation method is suitable for laundry waste treatment in home scale. The advantages obtained from the distillation method produced water in accordance with the quality standard.
