This study explores the perspectives of EFL university lecturers on dialogic teaching and how they implement it in their classrooms. The aim is to gain insights into the use and effectiveness of dialogic teaching in the EFL university context and contribute to the development of effective pedagogical practices. An interview study was conducted with EFL university lecturers to examine their perspectives and practices regarding dialogic teaching. The findings suggest that while lecturers had positive attitudes towards dialogic teaching, they faced challenges in implementing it effectively due to factors such as time management and institutional support. The study highlights the need for teacher training programs that focus on dialogic teaching and carefully tailored strategies that can be used in the EFL university context. Ultimately, the study has the potential to promote positive change in EFL education and contribute to the overall improvement of the field.en_US
