The Palu earthquake which had an epicenter in Donggala Regency occurred on September, 28, 2018 earthquake having a magnitude of 7.4 M. Damage to building structures due to the earthquake was categorized as high, recorded as damage to building structures, namely houses, shopping centers, hotels, hospitals, similar buildings, 5,146 buildings, 4,612 injured victims, 1,309 missing people. The problem that is the author's focus is that when the earthquake occurred, it revealed that many vulnerable residential buildings experienced light, medium and heavy damage. The objective of this paper is to determine the level of economic, social, and physical vulnerabilities in Donggala Regency as apart of anticipation strategy for future strong earthquakes. The method used in this research is processing data which is mostly sourced from BPS of Donggala Regency to determine the vulnerability category from the weights obtained by referring to Perka BNPB No.2 of 2012.
