KARAKTERISTIK KLINIS PADA PASIEN DENGAN DISPEPSIA FUNGSIONAL DI RSUD DR. SOEDIRMAN KEBUMEN
Abstract
Background : The prevalence of dyspepsia in primary health care was high in
2010, reported 5% of all primary health care visits were functional dyspepsia. In
the study population in Indonesia in 2015, incidence of dyspepsia in Papua ethnic
is 42.9%, then Batak ethnic is 40.0%, Bugis ethnic is 36.7%, Chinese ethnic is
13.0%, Dayak ethnic 7.5 %, and Java ethnic by 2.4%. The usual complaints in
primary health care are, pain or discomfort to heartburn in various health
services. In Kebumen there are no data on incidence rates, clinical or endoscopic
characteristics for dyspepsia.
Objective : This study aims to determine clinical characteristics in patients with
functional dyspepsia in RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen.
Methods : This research is an observational research, with descriprive method.
The sample is determined by sample size and non-probability consecutive
sampling method. Data taken from medical records of patients with dyspepsia in
RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen from January 2016 until December 2016.
Results : Patients with functional dyspepsia in RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen by
using inclusion and exclusion criteria, and sampling calculation we found 97
patients were eligible to be sampled. Depends on the sample, obtained that the
age group >40 year has the highest prevalence with 32 patients (33,0%). Females
are the highest gender with 66 patients (68,0%). Epigastric pain is the most
causes that make patients go to doctor, there were 94 patients (96.9%). Habits or
risk factors for patients with dyspepsia are not obtained, because there was not
any patient smoke or consume alcohol based on the medical record.
Conclusion : Based on medical record of patients with functional dyspepsia in
RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen can be concluded that the most age group is the
age group of 41-50 years, the most gender is female, the most common complaints
is heartburn, and for risk factors can not be concluded
